Fundraising 101
Steps to fundraising:
1) Write Letters-send a letter to all of your friends and family telling them about your participation in the Relay For Life and ask them for their help.
2) Plan team fundraisers
3) Plan onsite fundraisers-(but please have them approved by the Relay Committee)
4) Matching gifts- many companies offer matching gifts to their employees by either matching donations or volunteer hours.
Fundraising Ideas:
Cake walks
Brat/hotdog stand
Hold a party-this can range from a card party to a Tupperware party to a dinner party. Ask for donations to attend with a percentage of the proceeds going toward your team
Raffle prizes
Craft sale
Rummage Sale
